Merseyside Connected

Merseyside Connected aims to bring Superfast Broadband and improved broadband speeds to businesses and communities across Merseyside. The project is a collaboration between Knowsley Borough Council, Liverpool City Council, Sefton Borough Council, St Helens Borough Council and Wirral Borough Council. Although Superfast Broadband is currently being rolled out across Merseyside, many parts of the sub-region are still in danger of being left behind with slower internet speeds. It is a big challenge to bring high speed broadband to these areas, and this is why the five Local Authorities are working together with the community, internet service providers and infrastructure suppliers to facilitate the investment in Superfast Broadband technology. The business element of the Merseyside Connected programme has reached all its targets and has come to an end. To contact the providers, Commendium Ltd please call 0330 119 0000.
